German investor group Liberta Partners has acquired Skytron Energy, a provider of monitoring, control and supervision systems for utility-scale solar plants.
Skytron’s systems are currently deployed at more than 7GW of solar power generation assets around the world.
Liberta Partners said it will now be responsible for the management of Skytron with future investments focussing on the company’s flagship products, such as the Scada software PVGuard.
Liberta Partners partner Peter Franke said: “Skytron Energy’s global footprint and technical track record make it a solid investment that fits well into our strategy of acquiring enterprises with strong growth potential.”
