Island Green Power has launched a consultation on design changes for the 500MW East Pye solar and battery storage scheme proposed on land in south Norfolk, east England.
The developer is inviting feedback to 26 localised changes made following the scheme’s Phase Two statutory consultation held this summer.
Most of the amendments focus on providing access during construction and ensuring large loads can be delivered safely.
Changes have also been made to the site and size of the project’s substation.
IGP project development manager Samantha Jones said: “We are grateful for the feedback we received to our Phase Two consultation, which is being used to update our proposals ahead of submitting our Development Consent Order application (in early 2026), in a way that recognises views of the local community and stakeholders.
“The community feedback received has given us a number of suggestions to consider and we hope these updated designs help address these.”
The consultation runs for five weeks until 26 November.
