Lightsource BP has secured its first Taiwanese power offtake through a 115MW fishery-solar project, it said.
The developer signed a power purchase agreement with Star Trade, a unit of HD Renewable Energy Group, it said.

The contract covers 100% of output from the Budai and Yizhu Townships scheme in Chiayi County, Lightsource bp said.
Construction is under way after financing of about €175m was arranged, the company said.
Completion is due in 2026, creating up to 750 direct jobs, it added.
