Metlen has signed a 10-year power purchase agreement with Engie for the supply of electricity from six UK solar farms with a combined capacity of 235MW.
Under the deal, Engie will receive more than 233GWh annually from the Metlen-developed arrays that are scheduled to go online by the end of this year or in 2026.

Metlen said the agreement strengthened its “growing portfolio of offtake agreements across Europe” and deepened its partnership with PPA provider Engie.
The company was advised by Dentons on legal aspects of the PPA and by Our New Energy on commercial structuring.
