PPC Renewables is inviting bids from contractors to build a 550MW solar park at a former lignite mine in Ptolemaida, Greece’s largest single project to date.
The utility has launched the tender for design, civil engineering works, transmission, installation and commissioning of the project.

It is located in the municipalities of Eordaia & Kozani in Western Macedonia.
The chosen contractor will also be expected to supply equipment, except for PV panels.
The deadline for tender submissions is 30 September 2022.
