Watson Farley & Williams has advised Smart Energies on the acquisition of an Italian photovoltaic portfolio from Ensource Renewables.
The targets were two special purpose vehicles – Escogen and Ensource – that own authorisations for the construction and installation of eight rooftop photovoltaic plants with an estimated power capacity of approximately 5MW.

The plants are located in the Lombardy, Veneto, Lazio and Marche regions in Italy.
