SolarWorld reported earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of €20.5m in the first half of 2016, up from €9.9m in the first six months of 2015.
Revenue in the period was up to €434m, from €320m the year before, the German solar developer said.
EBITDA and revenue were boosted by shipments increasing 50% in the first half of 2016 to 682MW, compared with 456MW in the same period last year.
Overall, the group expects shipments to be more than 20% higher by the end of 2016 than the 1.159GW achieved last year.
