Sun rise at 455MW India giant

SB Energy has commenced commercial operations at a 455MW solar plant in Andhra Pradesh in India that comprises Trina Solar Tallmax panels.

The developer is a joint venture between SoftBank Group, Bharti Enterprises and Foxconn Technology Group.

Trina Solar chairman and chief executive Jifan Gao said: “We are proud to be the trusted partner of SB Energy for its first large-scale solar project in Andhra Pradesh.

“We are committed to working with SB Energy in meeting the country’s energy demands through clean sources and building a green and sustainable environment.”
