Trina Solar is to supply modules totalling 190MW for a photovoltaic project being built in Spain by ACS Group and its subsidiary Cobra.
The solar farm is located at Alcazar in Ciudad Real province and is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
It will feature Trina Solar’s integrated TrinaPro PV solution consisting of 560,000 TSM-PE14H multicrystalline half-cut cell modules, as well as 6206 single-axis tracker units.
The single-axis tracking system allows the modules to follow the sun to receive maximum sunlight, generating up to 25% additional power in stable conditions, Trina said.
Trina Solar module business Europe head Gonzalo de la Vina said: “We are delighted that Cobra has placed their trust in the superior quality and performance of Trina Solar products again for this new impressive project in Spain.
“This new sales agreement for the supply of 190MW follows the recent order of 167MW for the biggest project in Europe which is under development in Murcia, Spain.”
