Vestas has secured three onshore wind orders totalling 249MW across Italy, the United Kingdom and Germany.
Vestas said the Italian orders comprise a 42MW contract with Adest S.R.L. for the Tricarico project and a 55MW order from Asja Energy group for the Alia Sclafani Bagni Valledolmo project.
The company added that the UK order totals 90MW for an undisclosed customer and project while the Germany order is a 62MW contract with JUWI GmbH for the Olsberg-Plackweg project.
The Tricarico project will use seven V162 6MW turbines while the Alia Sclafani Bagni Valledolmo project will deploy four V162-6.0MW and five V162-6.2MW machines.
The UK project will feature 20 V136-4.5MW turbines with a 15-year AOM 5000 service agreement, while the German project will use 10 V162-6.2MW turbines under a 20-year AOM 4000 service agreement.
Delivery for the Italian projects is scheduled for the second half of 2026 with commissioning in 2027.
Delivery for the UK project is planned to begin in Q3 2027 with commissioning scheduled to start in Q4 2027.
Delivery for the German project is planned to begin in Q4 2027 with commissioning scheduled to begin in Q2 2028.
