Nordex Group has received an order from Max Bögl to supply and install six turbines for the Peckelsheim community wind farm in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The company said the order covers N163/6.X turbines on 164-metre hybrid towers along with a 20-year service agreement to ensure long-term availability and performance.
Nordex added that installation of the first turbine is scheduled to begin in spring 2027, with commissioning of the wind farm planned for the same year.
The Peckelsheim community wind farm is being built near Willebadessen in the eastern part of Höxter district in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The rural region is characterised by open arable and green land as well as favourable topographical conditions for wind energy use.
Max Bögl has been a long-standing partner of Nordex Group in Germany, regularly supplying concrete towers for wind farms using concrete-steel hybrid towers.
The Peckelsheim project highlights this partnership, with Max Bögl acting as both supplier and customer as well as developer and operator of wind farms.
