ScottishPower Renewables is gearing up to commence turbine installation later this month at the 1400MW East Anglia 3 wind farm off east England.
Cadeler jack-up Wind Osprey (pictured) will start erecting Siemens Gamesa 14.7MW turbines from around 18 March before wrapping up in third or fourth quarter of the year, according to a notice to mariners.
The vessel will load-out at the Port of Esbjerg in Denmark and is set to be joined on-site by fleet-mate Wind Pace once it reports for duty mid-April.
Commissioning is slated to begin in June.
Some 500MW of capacity is targeted to be installed by July and 1GW+ by September ahead of full commercial operations a month later, according to energy market disclosures.
Seaway Ventus has meanwhile put around 53 of 95 monopiles and transition pieces in place in the array area 69km off East Anglia in a foundations installation campaign that began last April.
