Exus Renewables has brought the 30MW Jastrowie and 23MW Okonek wind farms in Wielkopolskie Voivodeship into commercial operation.
The company said the 53MW portfolio was enabled in part through power purchase agreements with Amazon.
According to Exus, the two projects are expected to generate about 116GWh of clean electricity a year and support Poland’s energy transition.
The commissioning strengthens Exus Renewables’ position as an energy solutions provider offering PPA-backed clean power to corporates across Europe.
“After months of hard work, we’re delighted that the Jastrowie and Okonek wind farms are now officially operational,” said Pawel Szawlowski, country manager for Poland at Exus Renewables.
“Exus has a strong commitment to decarbonising Europe’s economy and advancing key renewable energy technologies,” Szawlowski added.
“Through these PPAs, we will help fast-track Poland’s renewable energy transition, contribute to the government’s 2030 clean energy targets, and to Amazon’s decarbonisation efforts,” he stated.
