Enel has acquired two onshore wind farms in Germany with a combined capacity of 51MW.
The company said the transaction contributes about €10m per year to ordinary EBITDA through a feed-in premium scheme that guarantees minimum remuneration when market prices fall below a set threshold.

It added that the deal has an enterprise value of roughly €80m and marks the Group’s first major acquisition of operating plants in Germany.
According to Enel, the German market is central to its expansion strategy, offering regulatory and macroeconomic stability and incentive mechanisms for renewable energy sources.
