It is OX2’s first project under construction in Romania and consists of 16 Vestas V162-6.2MW turbines.
In a project update, OX2 said the first turbine (pictured) is now in place, standing at over 200 metres tall from ground to blade tip.
Owned by Nala Renewables, Green Breeze is scheduled for commissioning in 2026.
It will produce an estimated 312GWh of renewable electricity per year, enough to power more than 50,000 homes.
Once operational, OX2 will handle the technical and commercial management of the project.
