Green Marine UK has acquired contracts, equipment, personnel and a vessel from Orkney-based Roving Eye Enterprises.
The deal includes ROVs, survey equipment, the multi-purpose catamaran Athenia and a portfolio of client agreements.
Green Marine said the acquisition will expand its services in the subsea survey sector and strengthen its position in aquaculture, marine energy, offshore cable and marine construction markets.
The company has already completed a pipeline survey using combined Roving Eye and Green Marine assets and personnel.
Managing director Jason Schofield said: “These additions will complement the substantial investment Green Marine recently made in the state-of-the-art survey equipment in 2025.
“This move reflects our ongoing investment in expanding our capabilities as offshore operations grow more demanding and dynamic.”
Roving Eye owner Keith Bichan said: “We’re proud of what we’ve achieved and are very pleased to see our operations, assets, and client relationships transition to Green Marine.”
Founded in 2012 and based in Stromness, Green Marine delivers marine contracting services with a focus on renewables, subsea cable operations, offshore wind, decommissioning and offshore engineering.
