Vestas is investigating a blade failure at the 8.4MW Lübbenow 3 wind farm in Brandenburg, Germany.
The incident occurred on 24 June at the two-turbine site near Karlstein, which is operated by Notus Energy.

“All plant and personnel were safe and accounted for, the site has been secured, and there were no injuries,” a Vestas spokesperson said.
The company added it would work with the customer to determine the root cause and next steps.
Lübbenow 3 features two V150-4.2MW turbines with 123-metre hub heights and was commissioned in 2019.
Notus Energy declined to comment.
