Estonia’s Consumer Protection and Technical Supervision Agency (TTJA) has announced no bids were made as the country’s latest lease auction of the Saare 3 sea area flopped.
The tender process started on 2 July and concluded on 4 July.

The Saare 3 zone spans 20.1 square kilometres and the initial price for the process was set at €301,500.
Deep Wind Offshore and OÜ Utilitas Wind had both qualified to participate in the auction, and although they had paid a deposit of €6030 each, neither of them made a bid.
The TTJA did not confirm the results of the Saare 3 auction by order dated 4 July and has made a decision on not initiating the building permit procedures for all applications submitted for the zone.
