The first Siemens Gamesa turbines for Equinor’s 95MW Hywind Tampen floating offshore wind farm have been installed in Norway.
The wind farm will comprise 11 Siemens Gamesa 167-8.6MW machines with a rotor diameter of 167 metres and blades of 81.5 metres.

It will come fully online this year.
Hywind Tampen aims to partially power the Snorre and Gullfaks offshore oil and gas fields off Norway.
