The Public Service Commission of Maryland will hold virtual hearings on 28 and 30 September as part of a public comment period for US Wind’s 270MW MarWin offshore wind farm planned to be built off the coast of the state.
The hearings will both take place at 6pm local time.
Interested parties that wish to speak at either hearing need to contact the Maryland authorities no later than midday on 24 September.
The meetings will be held through WebEx and also live streamed on the Commission’s YouTube channel.
Written public comments on the wind farm need to be submitted by 19 November.
In July, US Wind affiliate MarWind II filed an application with the Commission seeking approval of the wind farm and the award of offshore renewable energy credits under the Clean Energy Jobs Act of 2019.
