Jan De Nul recorded just over €25m in profit after tax in 2020, compared with €61m in 2019.
The company achieved turnover of €1.9bn and earnings before interest tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) amounted to 18% of turnover.

The offshore division in 2020 was involved in the construction of several offshore wind farm projects, in and outside Europe.
The company had an order portfolio of €3.2bn at the end of 2020, which includes several major offshore wind projects, including Kriegers Flak off Denmark, Saint-Nazaire in France, as well as Formosa 2 and also Changhua off Taiwan.
“The offshore renewables sector kept growing at high speed and prospects are very encouraging,” stated the marine contractor.
