French fishermen have sailed to an area off the French coast where Van Oord installation vessel Aeolus is working on the 496MW Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm.
The action is part of protests by the fisherman against the wind farm.

Aeolus started installation of pin piles for the jacket foundations on 3 May.
The Maritime Prefecture and Atlant Command-in-Chief posted photos and information on the protests on its Twitter feed.
The fishermen claim the wind farm will damage the marine environment, in particular scallops, and the fishing industry.
Installation of pin piles is scheduled for 2021 and 2022, with the jackets to be installed next year.
