The first of 89 Siemens Gamesa turbines has delivered power from the 383MW Fryslan offshore wind farm in IJsselemeer lake in the Netherlands.
Fryslan comprises 130-4.3MW machines, with heights of 180 metres and rotor diameters of 130 metres.

All the turbines are due to be installed by June this year.
When completed the wind farm will supply about 1.5 terrawatt-hours of electricity a year.
