French grid operator RTE has issued a market survey for the offshore substation at the 600MW Dunkirk offshore wind farm off northern France.
RTE will be in charge of the development and the construction of the grid infrastructure, including the project’s high voltage offshore substation.

The survey comes ahead of a tender for a contract for the fabrication and installation of the substation, including but not limited to engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning.
The contract is expected to be issued in January next year.
