Encavis has closed its transaction with Energiequelle to purchase the Senonnes wind farm in Pays de la Loire in north-west France.
Encavis Infrastructure Fund 2 (EIF 2), managed by Encavis Asset Management, acquired the 11.5MW wind farm facility from Energiequelle’s French subsidiary P&T Technologie.

The EIF 2 portfolio now stands at 232MW.
Senonnes, comprising five E-82 turbines, was commissioned in May last year. The two companies are also in the negotiation phase of a further project, also in France, Energiequelle said.
Energiequelle sales head Maik Pytzka said: “We had already had positive experiences with Encavis relating to the Trebbin and Schonefeld projects.
“That’s why we look forward to collaborating closely again on other projects.”
