Vestas has received turbine orders totalling 320MW in the US and China, as the 2019 financial year draws to a close.
In the US, the company won a 149MW turbine order for an unnamed wind farm and client.
The deal is for 12 V110-2.0MW machines and 57 V120-2.2MW units.
Vestas said the contract covers supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as a multi-year service agreement, designed to ensure optimised performance for the lifetime of the project.
Delivery will begin in the first quarter of 2020 with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of the same year.
In China, the Danish manufacturer received three orders – two for 55MW and the other for 51MW.
Both of the 55MW deals include supply of 25 V120-2.2MW turbines each, as well as two-year active output management 4000 service agreements.
Deliveries are expected to start in the second quarter of 2020, while commissioning is planned for the third quarter in the same year.
The 51MW order covers supply of 23 V120-2.2MW units and a two-year AOM 4000 service agreement.
Deliveries are expected to start in the first quarter of 2020, with commissioning planned for the second quarter of 2020.
The customers and project names are undisclosed at the clients’ request.
