Vestas has secured a supply deal for the second and final phase of the 94MW Overgaard 1 repowering project in Denmark.
The home-town manufacturer will supply ten V126-3.6MW turbines for the 36MW portion of the scheme that awarded capacity in the November 2019 auction.
Vestas will install, commission and deliver a 20-year servicing arrangement.
Deliveries will begin in the second quarter of 2021. Commissioning is planned for the fourth quarter of the same year.
The order was placed by SE Blue Renewables, which was this week acquired by Eurowind.
Vestas is also contracted to deliver hardware for the first phase of the project.
“We are proud to partner with SE Blue Renewables on finalising the Overgaard wind park and we will utilise our strong service offerings and extensive market experience in Denmark to create maximum value for our customer’s business case”, said Christer Baden Hansen, Vestas north and central Europe sales vice president.
