Van Oord jack-up Aeolus has installed the first of 44 MHI Vestas turbines at the 370MW Norther offshore wind farm off the coast of Belgium.
The V164-8.4MW machines are being installed in batches of four from the port of Vlissingen.

The wind farm is expected to be fully operational by the summer.
It is 50% owned by Elicio, while Eneco and Mitsubishi Corp subsidiary Diamond Generating Europe hold 25% stakes each.
