Vestas has booked an order with an unnamed client in China for turbines totalling 101MW that will have the highest towers in the Asian country.
The 46 V120-2.2MW machines will be delivered and commissioned in the second quarter of 2019 and have hub heights of 152 metres when complete.
Vestas said the turbines will be the highest for its 2MW platform.
The deal also includes a two-year active output management 4000 service agreement, as well as a VestasOnline Business SCADA solution.
