Nordex Group has secured deals with four separate customers in France for 27 turbines totalling 84MW.
EDF Renewables has ordered six N131/3600 machines for the Pays d’Anglure wind farm, while Eurowatt has booked five units of the same model and one N100/3300 turbine for the Parc du Rio project.
Two N131/3000 and four N131/3600 turbines will be supplied to JP Energie Environnement’s Brinay wind farm, with nine N117/2400 machines contracted for Valorem’s Reuilly Diou wind farm.
All four contracts include service deals for “several years”, Nordex said.
Nordex chief sales officer Patxi Landa said: “We are pleased to note that we continue to do well in France.
“Furthermore, the orders show that we are able to adapt our products well to the demanding requirements set by the local authorities – such as compliance with maximum noise levels.”
