Bibby Marine Services has secured a new charter for the Bibby WaveMaster 1 service operation vessel with MHI Vestas for several offshore wind farms off the west coast of England.
The vessel (pictured) charter covers the 2018 to 2019 winter period and will start on 23 October out of Liverpool.
Bibby Marine Services managing director Stephen Bolton said: “We are thrilled to have secured this opportunity with MHI Vestas. Not only is this our second winter specific charter it continues out record of continuous deployment since the vessel’s christening back in September 2017.
“With Total E&P having secured a further year from April 2019 we are now on track for our two years’ continuous operations.
“This is a credit to the vessel design, her crew and the wider Bibby team.”
