Senvion has extended until 6 December a charter with GC Rieber Shipping for the construction support vessel Polar Queen at the 332MW Nordsee 1 offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
The original contract was scheduled to end on 13 October.
Norwegian outfit GC Rieber Shipping said the new deal also includes options to extend the charter by up to three weeks.
Polar Queen is supporting turbine commissioning at the wind farm by providing transfer of technicians and cargoes.
Nordsee 1 consists of 54 Senvion 6.2M-126 turbines, the last of which was installed earlier this month.
