NDE Offshore has been contracted by Siemens to carry out structural and subsea inspections of the BorWin 2, HelWin 1 and 2 and SylWin 1 HVDC offshore platforms in the German North Sea.
The Swedish outfit will deploy its Edda Fonn vessel to carry out visual and multi beam surveys of the platforms.
NDE with use both remote operated vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles or drones to conduct the surveys.
The company added that it is the second year in a row that it has been contracted to perform the inspections.
