Moventas has received an order for its Exceed 3MW gearboxes from Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction for an offshore wind farm in South Korea.
The hardware is scheduled for delivery by the end of the second quarter of 2018.
Moventas senior vice president Pedro Figueiras said: “We are delighted to see Doosan order more Exceed for their 3MW turbine as a continuation to our strong relationship.”
Doosan was the first company in Korea to develop 3MW wind power generation systems for both onshore and offshore sites, Moventas said.
