Danish outfit Blue Water Shipping and German port agent Bremer Reederei E&B (BREB) have formed a joint venture to focus mainly on servicing the German offshore wind turbine market.
The JV, Blue Water BREB, will provide a range of services including port agency, stevedoring, loading, discharging, storage and transport.
BREB has been active in the German offshore wind industry since 2008 and has offices in Bremen, Cuxhaven, Sassnitz-Mukran and on Heligoland.
BREB managing director and partner Arne Ehlers said: “Blue Water BREB has a unique set-up, combining the knowledge and expertise of two strong companies – and with this joint venture, we can now offer all types of transport and logistical services at all key locations for the German offshore wind industry.”
