Vestas has received an order for turbines totalling 300MW from an unnamed client in the US.
The Danish manufacturer will supply and commission 150 V110 2MW machines for a wind farm, the name of which has not been disclosed.
Delivery will start in the second quarter of 2017, with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter.
The contract also involves a multi-service agreement, Vestas said.
