Czech utility CEZ Group has bought a 12.8MW wind farm in southwest Germany from asset manager Aream.
The unnamed project, CEZ’s first wind investment in the country, benefits from a 20-year feed-in tariff.
The company said it has reviewed many projects with installed capacity exceeding 2.5GW.
CEZ chief renewables and development officer Tomáš Pleskac said: “This is our initial project in the German renewables market, with others planned to follow.
“We are looking not only at already completed onshore projects but also at offshore projects and projects under development.”
