Renewables asset manager Greensolver provided Swiss utility BKW with technical due diligence during its acquisition of four French wind farms totalling 49MW.
The work, which took place between June and September, included wind assessment review, site visits, acoustic studies review, contracts relevance and blade inspection.
BKW bought from Samfi Invest one operational wind farm and three projects under construction or in the planning phase, which are expected to be online by 2018.
Greensolver operations director Carla Vico said: “Given the French market complexity at the moment regarding power prices, one of our additional missions was to provide BKW with expert feedback on each wind farm and what could be the implication in the very near future on that particular issue.”
