Austri Raskiftet, the special purpose vehicle developing the 112MW Raskiftet wind farm in Norway, has hired Danish company Ramboll and subsidiary BBB as owner’s engineer on the project.
The wind farm, which will be located in the municipalities of Åmot and Trysil some 200km northeast of Oslo, will consist of 31 V126 3.45MW turbines and is scheduled to come online at the end of 2018.
BBB and Ramboll will be responsible for supervision of the wind turbine works, a 32kV/132kV internal substation, a 16.8km 132kV overheadline, foundations, roads platform, cabling and a 132kV switchyard at the grid connection point.
The shareholders in Austri Raskiftet comprise Norwegian utilities Eidsiva Energi and Gudbrandsdal Energi and German municipal utility Stadtwerke München.
The wind farm is part of a portfolio of projects Stadtwerke München plans to utilise to supply 100% renewable energy to Munich by 2025.
