The substation topside for the 402MW Veja Mate offshore wind farm has set sail for the German North Sea construction site.
The port of Eemshaven said the tug Union Manta arrived yesterday to transport the platform.
Avantha Group Company CG, Cofely Fabricom and lemants are tackling the turnkey supply and installation of the HV offshore substation.
Installation of EEW-made monopiles is ongoing on the project where Seajacks jack-up Scylla is tackling on the job.
The project is scheduled to be fully operational in 2018.
Veja Mate shareholders inlcude Siemens Financial Services, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Highland Group Holdings.
