Dalby Offshore’s latest wind farm service vessel Dalby Ouse has started working on the 402MW Dudgeon project off the Norfolk coast in the UK.
The vessel, which was built by Alicat Workboats, was delivered to the owners on 8 July.
It has a newly developed motion monitoring system on board and achieved over 32 knots on trials, Dalby Offshore said.
Dalby Ouse (pictured) is working out of Great Yarmouth’s Trinity Quay – Dalby’s Trinity Marine Services joint venture facility with the Gardline Shipping Group.
The vessel has eight technicians’ berths, as well as accommodation for six crew for 24-hour operations of up to seven days.
Total cargo capacity is 20 tonnes and 27,000 litres of fuel with 110v power sockets and ISO container points fully classed and DG certified.
Dudgeon is owned by Statoil, Statkraft and Masdar and will feature 67 Siemens 6MW turbines.
It is on track to go live in the second half of 2017.
