Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has struck a deal to acquire over 500MW of pre-construction onshore wind farms in the US.
The Danish investor said it now holds a 100% stake in the consented 366MW Bearkat and 150MW Blue Cloud wind farms in Texas.
The projects, located in Glasscock County and Bailey and Lamb Counties, were developed by TriGlobal Energy in cooperation with locals, CIP said.
“TriGlobal Energy will continue to assist CIP with the development towards financial close and the projects are planned to be fully operational before 2018 and qualify for 100% Production Tax Credits,” said a company statement.
