German company FWT Production is to supply 20 2.5MW turbines for a 51MW wind farm to be developed by Alten in Kalmykia in Russia.
Delivery is scheduled for the end of the year, with commissioning planned for the first half of 2017.
The deal comprises engineering, supply and installation of the wind turbines, as well as electrical and civil infrastructures.
The project is the first phase of a project that will have a total capacity of 300MW.
Alten is a subsidiary of Czech company Falkon Capital.
