Acciona has started erecting turbines at the 93MW San Roman wind farm in Cameron County, Texas.
The project is expected to come online in late 2016.
It will consist of 31 3MW machines.
Acciona said the project represents the renewal of its investment activity in the USA and will raise the company’s wind energy capacity in the country to 721MW, across eight wind farms in six states.
