Siemens has awarded NDE Offshore a contract to carry out inspections of the helidecks at HVDC platforms for the 576MW HelWin 1, 864MW SylWin 1 and 800MW BorWin 2 offshore wind grid links.
NDE said it has already completed the work at HelWin 1 (pictured) and SylWin 1, with the BorWin work scheduled to start in July.
The grid connections are owned by TenneT, NDE added.
NDE offshore operations manager Dan Marks said: “It gives us great satisfaction when a client of Siemens’ magnitude, trusts us to perform yet another project.”
