The first eight turbines at Energia’s 95MW Meenadreen wind farm in Ireland’s north west have been installed.
Some 38 Nordex N90/2500s will feature at the €145m Donegal project once completed later this year.
Civil works have been carried out by Denis Moriarty while electrical engineering has been tackled by the Kirby Group.
It is expected that turbine installation will continue until September. Nordex will provide a 15-year service deal in addition to the 2.5MW turbines.
