EDF Energies Nouvelles has expanded its business in south west France with the commission of a new wind farm.
The group has commissioned the 11.9MW Joncels wind farm in the Languedoc Roussillon Midi- Pyrénées region.
Joncels features 14 turbines Gamesa G58 850kW machines.
The move means EDF EN operates 444MW of wind energy in the region, almost half of the area’s total output for wind.
