Aqualis Offshore has been hired by Petrofac to perform technical support services on the BorWin Gamma offshore wind substation topsides.
The consultancy will tackle preparation of technical specifications for supply of leg mating units and deck supports, support during procurement and an engineering review.
It will also monitor parts of the fabrication process with all work perfomed out of the Singapore office. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
Petrofac and Siemens were contract by TenneT to design, build and install the 900MW BorWin3 HVDC grid link in the North Sea.
