Developer Wind Works Power has been cleared to build a 10MW wind project in central Ontario.
Provincial regulators granted a renewable energy approval for the Cloudy Ridge proposal, previously known as the Skyway 126 project.
Any Ontario resident may request an Environmental Review Tribunal hearing within 15 days.
The proponent plans to build five Senvion MM92 2MW turbines on 100-meter towers and a 44kV transformer substation.
The wind farm in Grey Highlands will be connected to Hydro One’s distribution system.
Wind Works holds a 70% stake in the project.
Cloudy Ridge has a 20-year feed-in tariff power purchase agreement with the Independent Electricity System Operator.
