SPower’s 22.5MW Sierra Solar project in Los Angeles County has been completed and has started operations.
The plant is delivering electricity to Southern California Edison under a 20-year power purchase agreement.
SPower chief executive officer Ryan Creamer said: “This important milestone is another renewable energy success story for the Antelope Valley.
“It is a result of a years-long collaborative effort from everyone involved – from LA County’s Department of Regional Planning to Lancaster landowners to SCE to our EPC partner.”
